The Claims Loss Reporting Representative is the first contact in the claims process and must be extremely empathetic in dealing with customers who are upset or even physically hurt.  LRU Representatives interact extensively with callers including policyholders, claimants, attorneys, insurance companies, repair shops and others.  This role includes the gathering of information and inputting of data as part of the first notice of loss process along with the setting up of early tow/salvage and appraisal assignments.

• Provide superior customer service to customers.
• Handle difficult or upset customers in a professional manner.
• Answer customer's questions that require specific claims first notice of loss training and maintain a thorough working knowledge of policies and procedures.
• Input loss report information data obtained from the customer into the claims handling system.
• Communicate with vendors and body shops in the setting up of early tow/salvage and appraisal assignments.
• Meet standards for LRU Quality & Productivity and adhere to organizational policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Excellent written and oral communication skills. 
• Solid computer skills and knowledge of MS Office Products along with ability to type 40 wpm minimum with accuracy.
• Ability to adapt to constant change and execute in a fast paced call center environment
• Have excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Meeting Associate Representative Qualifying Standards
• Must not be on Corrective Action, Level 1 or higher
• High school diploma or GED required
• Successful completion of the LRU Associate Rep Skills and Knowledge Assessment with a score of 90% or higher
